John Frank Jr. is retiring after a 30-year career with Cushman & Wakefield. He has served as chairman of the Cincinnati office and will become chairman emeritus upon retirement.

Frank specialized in investment sales, representing buyers and sellers, as well as providing advisory services for a variety of clients. He has marketed, negotiated and sold many investment properties, including central business district and suburban office buildings; anchored and unanchored retail centers; multi-tenant office, flex and industrial properties; single tenant office, industrial and retail properties; and multifamily complexes, comprising thousands of units.

Frank also managed commercial real estate brokerage companies from 1981 to 1995. He was a founder of Realteam Ltd. of Cincinnati in 1984. From 1990 to 1995, he served as president of Ostendorf-Morris, which merged with one of Cushman & Wakefield’s predecessor companies in 1999.

Frank has served as a past president and board member of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute. He was president of the Ohio CCIM chapter in 1983, and received the Real Estate Professional Award of the Year from the University of Cincinnati in 2002. He is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) and the Cincinnati, Ohio and National boards of Realtors. He served as chair of the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky CRE Chapter.

He also worked for 14 years in the marketing and production of specialty food products within a family business.
