Following the success of last year’s program, The Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers has announced a second “on-site” location for its annual Trade Show and Developers Showcase. The annual event will be held on Sept. 12 at 171 Covington Drive in Bloomingdale.
The building at 171 Covington Drive is owned by VentureOne. It is a 110,000-square-foot industrial facility featuring office, flex, R&D and lab space. The building is just minutes from I-355 and I-290.
Up until last year, for more than a decade ago, the association’s annual Trade Show and Developers Showcase has been held at a hotel or in a ballroom, generally in the O’Hare market area. This year, however, AIRE’s board of directors and event co-chairs elected to change it up.
The annual Trade Show and Developers Showcase will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a catered lunch served. The event is the traditional fourth quarter kick-off that positions brokers, developers and other industrial real estate service providers for a productive year end.
“The trade show kicks off a push to productivity,” said Adam Marshall, NAI Hiffman, who, along with Tom Rodeno of Colliers International, is one of the co-chairs of the event. “The event offers brokers, developers and other service providers with the opportunity to showcase properties, products and services to Chicago’s industrial brokerage community.”
