Tim Morse is the new chief financial officer and executive vice president of Auction.com, an online real estate marketplace.
This appointment comes just weeks after Auction.com announced a $50 million investment from Google Capital, part of a partnership that is focused on extending the company’s share of the global real estate marketplace.
For 15 years, Morse has held several positions with General Electric Company. In July of 2005, he was named chief financial officers and general manager of business development for GE Plastics. He left GE in 2007 to become chief financial officer for the Altera Corporation, a San Jose-based maker of semiconductors.
