Bank of America Merrill Lynch announced that Katy Gnapp has been named Commercial Real Estate Banking (CREB) Executive.
Based in Chicago, Katy manages teams that serve professional commercial real estate investors throughout the U.S. She was most recently the CREB executive for the West Region. She has been with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, related subsidiaries, and predecessor institutions since 1982, serving the commercial real estate industry.
Commercial Real Estate Banking is part of Global Banking and Markets and works closely with other businesses within Bank of America Merrill Lynch to provide a broad set of financial solutions to professional real estate investors nationwide.
She is past president of the Real Estate Lenders Association and a member of the Real Estate Networking Trust, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Katy also serves on the board of directors for HomeAid America and has served on Community Investment Corporation’s board.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
