The Building Owners and Managers Association of Suburban Chicago will host the inaugural meeting of a Specific Interest Group for industrial property managers. The meeting will take place on Sept. 25 at 8:30 a.m. at the BOMA/Suburban Chicago offices in Schaumburg. The meeting will include a continental breakfast, short program and networking opportunity.
The program is on “Vacant Industrial Maintenance” with guest speaker Nancy Roach. Roach is president of Strada Real Estate Services Inc., which she founded in 2001. Prior to that time she oversaw property portfolios, including industrial.
The Industrial SIG will have quarterly programs with networking and is open to both BOMA/Suburban Chicago members and nonmembers involved in industrial property management. It is an outgrowth of the Industrial 101 Workshop held earlier in the year.
Future programs will include a panel on industrial management on Nov. 27, a repeat of a “tweaked” Industrial 101, and a new Industrial 102 seminar. Pre-registration is required. There is no fee for BOMA/Suburban Chicago members; nonmembers may attend for $20. For additional information, visit www.bomasuburbanchicago.com or call (847) 995-0970.
