LaSalle Investment Management hired Jason Kern as its new chief executive officer for the Americas.
Kern will replace Peter Schaff, and will work from the company’s Chicago office.
Before taking on his new position, Kern founded the Asia-Pacific Real Estate & Lodging Advisory Group for Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. He also served as managing director at that firm.
