Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately held commercial real estate services firm, announced that Senior Directors Barbara Schenberg and Larry Goldwasser have been hired by 4K Diversey Partners LLC to lease 450,000 Sq. Ft. of office space at The Fields, a 1.5 million Sq. Ft. complex offering office, retail, Live/Work residential and industrial space at 4000 W. Diversey.
Located in the rapidly-growing Logan Square neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago, The Fields has recently completed leases with:
– 26,000 Sq. Ft. to Deal Genius, an online service that helps shoppers find the lowest product prices. C&W represented the tenant. – 115,000 Sq. Ft. to Studio 41 for a home plumbing, window and cabinet distributor to homeowners, contractors, designers, and architects. This new warehouse will support their 14 retail locations. – 103,000 Sq. Ft. to Newly Weds Foods, the premier global purveyor of customized breadings, batters, seasonings, and functional ingredients. Jack Cozzie and Jim Cummings of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the tenant.
Merit Partners LLC is redeveloping the project into The Fields on behalf of 4K Diversey Partners LLC, the property owner, who acquired the complex from Macy’s in 2014. Chicagoans will remember the building as the famous Marshall Field & Co. warehouse sales building. Today, The Fields offers unique and inspiring space to attract a young, educated and creative workforce. The complex is in an attractive location, easily accessible by public transportation and provides over 700 indoor parking spaces for urban or suburban commuters.
