Ferguson Partners, a talent management and strategic advisory firm for global real assets industries, appointed Lara Gartner to lead the company’s healthcare executive search practice. She will work from the company’s Chicago office.
In her new role, Gartner will lead Ferguson’s search and leadership advisory services for a variety of organizations in the fast-moving healthcare sector, including senior housing, medical outpatient buildings (MOB), and life science firms.
Gartner has two decades of experience and a proven track record in both executive search and corporate talent acquisition. Throughout her career, she has successfully conducted numerous searches and has placed executives in a wide range of new employment opportunities ranging from management through C-Suite level positions. Prior to joining Ferguson, she served for several years with leading senior housing REIT Ventas, Inc., where she developed and led the company’s first internal talent acquisition function.
The addition of Gartner also represents the latest in the recent expansion strategy for Ferguson, as the company has made several key hires and has continued to grow its numerous business lines over the last year.
Gartner began her executive search career in 1996 with Martin Partners, LLC, and later established Gartner Partners, LLC, a boutique executive search firm focused on finance and accounting. In addition to two separate stints as Director of Talent Acquisition at Ventas Inc., she also served as Director with private investment firm Centre Lane Partners, LLC during her career.
She holds a degree in International Relations from The Ohio State University and is certified in Hogan Assessments and as a DDI Targeted Selection Trainer and Coach. Gartner is also a supporter of the Erie Family Health Centers, a nonprofit healthcare organization.
