InCommercial Property Group is pleased to announce the following new hires:
Akeem Hutchinson: Property Manager
Akeem Hutchinson went to Ball State University where he was a Defensive End for the Cardinals football team. He received a degree in Property Management with a minor in Business Management in 2019. In pursuit of independence, Hutchinson moved to Chicago after graduation and began working with a residential rental housing company. During the course of his career, Hutchinson was proud to maintain a highly successful apartment leasing and management track record, but admired the challenging and dynamic environment that a rapidly-growing commercial real estate firm can offer. Hutchinson was brought onto InCommercial Property Group’s team as a Property Manager in September 2021. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and a board member for the St. Jude outreach effort in the African American community.

Karla graduated from the University of Kansas with a business degree and has a Master’s in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller University. In 2010, after ten years in sales, Karla pivoted her career to accounting and worked for a commercial real estate company where she supported full cycle accounting for property, corporate, and development entities. She then joined a Big 4 firm, with two years in tax compliance followed by two years of consulting clients in identifying and maximizing tax credits and utilizing the most beneficial accounting methods to minimize their tax liability. Later on, Lombardi lent her talents to a Fortune 100 company, where she not only graduated from the company’s highly competitive Emerging Leaders Program, but managed multiple tax credit studies and assisted with federal tax planning. As a self-described Type A personality and a licensed CPA, Lombardi thrives in her new role as InCommercial Property Group’s Controller. When she’s not offering her years of finance and accounting expertise to the team, she can be found volunteering with LadderUp, an organization that provides pro bono economic planning resources to people in need.
