Avison Young has completed the sale of an 18-acre parcel of land on behalf of the Lake County Fair Association in suburban Chicago.
The buyer, a private investor, purchased an adjacent 62-acre parcel in Libertyville from the Avison Young team earlier this year and now plans to develop a business park that incorporates both parcels.
The land is located on the northeast corner of Peterson Road and Midlothian Road. The new business park will accommodate buildings ranging from 50,000 to 650,000 square feet.
Avison Young Principals Keith Puritz and Brett Kroner represented the seller. Assisting in the transaction for Avison Young were Eric Fischer, a senior vice president in the firm’s Rosemont office, and industrial brokerage associate Michael Scadron. The team has also been selected to market the business park on behalf of the purchaser.
