J.C. Anderson Inc. recently completed a 20,000-square-foot expansion and renovation on behalf of Avanade Inc. within 161 N. Clark St., Chicago.
Avanade provides business technology solutions and managed services. The firm is majority owned by Accenture and was founded in 2000 by Accenture LLP and Microsoft Corp. J.C. Anderson Inc. completed a phased expansion and renovation to Avanade’s existing space within the 50-story office high-rise at Clark and Randolph.
The renovations included improvements to the reception, conference and pantry areas; new ceiling finishes and paint throughout; and new glass sidelites for the perimeter offices. The conference rooms will feature new magnetic glass marker boards and detailed partition walls. J.C. Anderson Inc. will also construct millwork benches within open office areas to accent the new workstations and install glass fronts for two meeting rooms, new banquet seating and a reception desk.
Michael Yazbec, executive vice president of J.C. Anderson Inc., was the project executive and Joe Maguire was the project manager. Planning Design Research out of Houston provided the architectural services.
