Kraus-Anderson Construction has hired Joel Akason as director of business development and Kraus-Anderson Realty has hired James Lundequam as real estate construction manager. Both will work from the company’s Minneapolis office.
Joel Akason
Prior to joining Kraus-Anderson Construction, Akason served as senior vice president of business investment for GREATER MSP, a Twin Cities economic development partnership that accelerates regional competitiveness and economic growth.
Akason earned a B.S. from Winona State University, an MBA from Drake University and a Certification of Economic Development (CEcD). He is a member of the Accreditation Committee for the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and served on the boards of the Mid America Economic Development Council (MAEDC) and Professional Developers of Iowa.
James Lundequam
Lundequam comes to Kraus-Anderson Realty from Sandman Structural Engineers, where he was a project engineer. He also was the Deputy Base civil engineer for the 133rd Airlift Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard, located at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. In addition, he served 12 years in the United States Military, including nine years as a crew chief on a Blackhawk Helicopter for the Army and three years with the Air Force as a civil engineer.
Lundequam received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
