Lee & Associates has closed the $3.8 million sale of an office building at 2600 River Road in Des Plaines.
Ellen Steinbrecher and CJ Kuehl represented the seller, Property Casualty Insurers. The buyer, AmericanEagle.com, a website strategy, development and maintenance services company, was represented by Grubb & Ellis.
According to Steinbrecher, Property Casualty Insurers sold its existing office location in Des Plaines as it was too large for their current needs. They relocated to a 39,000-square-foot Chicago address that is located near the train and has building signage facing the expressway.
Built in 1972 and remodeled in 1993, the 60,000-square-foot building will be fully occupied by AmericanEagle.com, which is relocating from nearby Park Ridge.
