Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, famous for its deep dish pizza, announced today that it will officially make Buffalo Grove its home. The company will consolidate several local properties at a 125,000-square-foot facility at 900-950 Busch Parkway in Lake County’s Corporate Grove Business Park. Colliers Chicago’s Ned Frank and Pat Hake represented The Malnati Organization in the transaction.
With a unique combination of existing infrastructure for manufacturing and office space, along with abundant parking to accommodate all employees, 900-950 Busch Parkway will serve as the company’s new home office, national e-commerce site, USDA manufacturing plant and fulfillment center. The building is owned by The Missner Group and features 15,000 square feet of office space, eight docks and 16’ clear ceiling height. Lou Malnati’s will make the move in spring 2022 following an extensive buildout.
“As the Malnati Organization continues to expand its product offering and geographical reach, it became necessary to increase manufacturing and distribution capacity,” said Frank, a Senior Vice President with Colliers’ Industrial Advisory Group. “Following a lengthy search, we were able to identify a property that suited their needs very well and will support growth for years to come.”
Lou Malnati’s has been experiencing growth in its the brick-and-mortar and “Tastes of Chicago” e-commerce businesses over the past several years and continues to open new stores in existing and new markets while also growing its online shipping division
The Malnati family has been known for its original recipe, and top-notch quality and hospitality, since opening in 1971. Marc Malnati heads up the business.
