Matthew Wallace

Matthews Real Estate Investment Services has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Matthew Wallace. As the new market leader for Matthews’ Cleveland office, Wallace brings more than 10 years of experience in real estate transactions.

In his role, Wallace will oversee business development in the Midwest region and manage the Cleveland office. Wallace will be an asset in recruiting top talent to join the firm as Matthews continues to expand its presence.

Prior to joining Matthews, Wallace worked as the vice president of transactions at Chase Properties, a Cleveland-based private equity firm. During his tenure, he completed more than $250 million in transactions, built out a new company-wide asset management system and launched the company’s first institutional joint venture.

Prior to Chase Properties, Wallace led East Coast acquisitions and dispositions for DDR, a publicly traded REIT, where he completed more than $1 billion in transaction volume during his tenure.
