Meridian Design Build recently broke ground on a 100,280-square-foot building expansion for Kubota Engine America in Lincolnshire. The project, which is being completed on a design/build basis, consists of 81,880 square feet of plant/warehouse space and 18,400 square feet of space intended to serve as future offices. Site improvements are also under way to accommodate additional employee parking for the growing company.
Peter Schmidt, senior vice president, and Ryan Moore, project engineer, are managing the project for Meridian Design Build. Greg Suthers, superintendent, is coordinating work at the job site. Architectural services are being provided by Timothy Morgan Associates and civil engineering work is being completed by Manhard Consulting.
