NAI Hiffman promoted John Whitehead from senior vice president to executive vice president. He has also been named as the newest shareholder for the firm.
John joined NAI Hiffman’s industrial services group in 2005, according to the company’s announcement. Whitehead represents property owners, tenants and buyers in the greater Chicagoland area, helping to create real estate solutions and supporting business strategies.
In his career, Whitehead has completed more than 130 transactions, totaling more than 5 million square feet and nearly $150 million in value. Companies that he has represented in sale and lease transactions include ML Realty, DCT, Silgan, COM2 Recycling Solutions, Cadence Premier Logistics and others. A recent success includes Heritage Crossing, a 228-acre business park in Lockport. Whitehead completed more than 1.17 million square feet in transactions in 2016 at the business park prompting the developer to build an additional 845,000 square feet of new product scheduled to be complete next quarter.
