The Industrial Advisory Group of Colliers International | Chicago recently represented International Airport Centers (IAC) in a 248,748-square-foot new long-term lease to Navistar at 1000 N. County Line Road, Elmhurst, Ill.
This transaction represents an expansion for Navistar, who will utilize the facility as a supplement to its Melrose Park operations.
1000 N. County Line Road, also known as IAC O’Hare Distribution Center, was constructed in 2008. Located just south of O’Hare International Airport near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Interstate I-294, the building features 30′ clear ceiling height, ESFR fire sprinkler system, 60′ concrete aprons, 242 car parking and 113 trailer spaces. Navistar plans to occupy the building in December 2011.
IAC O’Hare Distribution Center is located on the fringe of both the O’Hare and Central DuPage industrial submarkets. This lease is the second largest new transaction year-to-date in those submarkets.
