Oak Street Real Estate Capital hires CRE veteran as new managing director

Real estate investment manager Oak Street Real Estate Capital, LLC (“Oak Street”) has added CBRE veteran Guy Ponticiello as a managing director to join the firm’s senior investment team focusing on sourcing and structuring sale-leaseback transactions while expanding Oak Street’s real estate fund strategies.

Guy brings over 30 years of real estate experience serving corporations, institutional investors and financial institutions with sale leaseback transactions, built-to-suit developments, and net lease investment sales throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. He served as Managing Director and National Practice Leader of CBRE’s Corporate Capital Markets Group, an international practice which provides capital markets solutions for corporately-owned and occupied real estate.

Prior to CBRE, Guy spent 18 years at JLL where he led the corporate finance and Net Lease Group, a national advisory and investment sales practice group for occupier and investor clients. Guy has executed CRE transactions in excess of $30 billion during his career.

Guy holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from DePaul University.
