Pine Tree promotes Conor Bossy to EVP, acquisitions

Northbrook-based Pine Tree, LLC has promoted Conor Bossy from senior vice president to executive vice president of acquisitions and head of the firm’s acquisitions team. According to Pine Tree CEO Peter Borzak, Bossy has made significant contributions to the company’s growth and culture since he joined Pine Tree in 2015.

“Not only does Conor have an in-depth knowledge of the marketplace, he also has great real estate instincts, which he combines with the maturity and experience to lead our acquisitions effort,” said Borzak. “He has also proven himself to be a strong, resourceful leader who is committed to Pine Tree’s mission, values and goals and that of our stakeholders.”

Bossy is an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame and is a resident of Clarendon Hills, Illinois. He is an active member of ICSC and ICSC Next Generation.

This year has been an active one for the twenty-four-year-old retail real estate company, which expanded its shopping center portfolio by over 1.5 million square feet with acquisitions in such diverse markets as Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles and Boise.
