The Springfield Regional Economic Partnership last week celebrated the ground-breaking of Beacon Suites, a 200-bed apartment complex in Springfield, Mo.
The complex will cover 100,000 square feet in a pair of four-story buildings, and will include luxury one-, two- and four-bedroom apartments.
Beacon Suites will serve students of Missouri State University, Drury University and Ozarks Technical College.
The project is a partnership between Tim Roth of Springfield and Beacon Student Housing based in Denver.
The project has a targeted opening date in the summer of 2014.
