Transwestern promotes Marconi to managing broker of industrial practice and Coleman to executive VP

Transwestern has promoted Michael Marconi to managing broker of the firm’s industrial practice in Rosemont, Illinois. Effective immediately, he will succeed John Coleman, current Rosemont leader, who has been named executive vice president for Midwest regional resource development, based out of Transwestern’s Midwest headquarters in downtown Chicago.

A veteran industrial broker specializing in the Central DuPage and Fox Valley regions, Marconi most recently served as principal in Transwestern’s Rosemont office. He was previously a member of the group’s executive committee when the Rosemont practice was known as Epic Realty Partners LLC, which was acquired by Transwestern in January 2014. As managing broker, Marconi will oversee day-to-day operations and guide the strategic direction of the 30-person Rosemont group.

With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, Coleman has led the Rosemont industrial practice since 2009. In his new role, he will advance platform initiatives, create new products, and drive investment, development and brokerage opportunities across Transwestern’s five Midwest regional offices.
