On behalf of OneDigital, JLL closed the negotiation of a 16,925-square-foot lease at CityPlace Corporate Centre I in the Kansas City market.
OneDigital, a national health, retirement/wealth and HR advisory firm, will be relocating in November and expanding its Retirement + Wealth national headquarters to 11101 Switzer Road in Overland Park, Kansas.
Anné Erickson and RJ Trowbridge of JLL represented OneDigital. Hunter Johnson and Andrew Block represented the landlord, Block Real Estate Services, LLC, in-house.
“We were thrilled to help pinpoint and secure an office space that accounted for OneDigital’s current expansions, the post-COVID work environment and future of the company’s development,” said Erickson.
In JLL’s study of shifting global workforce expectations, 70 percent of respondents reported the office environment is more conducive to connecting with teammates to solve complex issues, as well as managing direct reports and connecting with leadership. The study notes the workplace of the future will have to be more human than ever to support employees’ diverse, changing needs and workstyles.
