33 Realty closed on four apartment buildings with a total of 48 units for a sale price upwards of $5 million in Des Plaines, Illinois.
The buildings include 1375 Brown Street, 459 Oak Street, 800 South Graceland Avenue, 1619 Thacker Street.
Cubed Construction, a division of 33 Realty, will embark on a $2.5 million gut rehab of all four properties which will transform the apartment into luxury rentals usually found in the downtown area. Upgrades include high-end finishes, in-unit laundry and open floor plans. Cubed will also replace the brick exterior with a French colonial facade along with new roofs, lighting and ornamental railings. The project is scheduled to finish in spring 2018.
