According to a report in Crain’s, Higgins is wrapping up operations within his 40-year-old firm, Higgins Development Partners. Under that banner, Higgins has been behind numerous high-profile projects around the country, including the Blue Cross Blue Shield building, the Hyatt Center and FBI regional office in Chicago.
“I’ve admired Jack and his contributions to Chicago’s skyline since moving here in 2011,” said CRG president, Shawn Clark. “Jack’s deep history of large-scale development in Chicago combined with CRG’s vertically integrated delivery model has already gotten off to a fun start. You can expect some special and innovative projects to come from this team.”
In his new role, Higgins will consult on “large scale” development, focusing on the office sector.
