CoStar Group, Inc. recently released the recipients of its 2015 CoStar Power Broker® Awards.
A total of 70 Chicago-area industry professionals were recognized for their exceptional performance this past year in the office, retail, industrial and sales market sectors. The Power Broker Awards recognize those professionals who perform at the highest levels in commercial real estate brokerage.
CoStar’s research team verifies and records commercial real estate sales and lease transactions. From that information, CoStar presents the CoStar Power Broker Awards to a select number of brokerage firms and individual brokers that closed the highest overall transaction volumes in commercial property sales and leases in each market in a given year.
All CoStar Power Broker Awards are based on transaction data in CoStar’s commercial real estate database, which is the largest, independently researched database of commercial real estate property information available online. CoStar’s database contains more than 4.3 million commercial properties, and the total square footage of gross building area tracked and maintained by CoStar exceeds 95 billion square feet.
Additionally, 20 Chicago RE firms made CoStar’s Top Leasing Firms and 10 firms were named the Top Sales Firms of 2015.
CoStar plans to host Power Broker Power Breakfast Events for winners in key markets around the country and Canada.
