Kadean Construction, a 57-year-old construction company with offices in St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri, has joined the Lee’s Summit Economic Development Council in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, as an advisory-level investor.
Kadean has experienced significant growth. Located 1821 McGee in the Crossroads neighborhood of Kansas City, Kadean’s 5,250-square-foot office was renovated last fall and is designed to accommodate the needs of the growing office. Kadean experienced a jump in revenue of 333 percent from 2018 to 2020, and its 2021 backlog is indicative of additional growth.
Kadean’s Kansas City office has completed more than 1 million square feet of industrial distribution space in the KCI Intermodal Business Centre with an additional 89,000 square feet under contract. Other projects include healthcare and multiple ambulatory surgery centers, an R&D laboratory and manufacturing facility expansion and a senior living and memory care facility.
