The Rochester office of Kraus-Anderson has begun construction on Bryk on Broadway, a $39.2 million, mixed-income affordable housing project in Rochester, Minnesota’s, Destination Medical Center district.
Owners Dirk Erickson and John and Marcia Bouquet are developing the property at Civic Center Drive and North Broadway.
Designed by ISG, the property features 180 units of mixed-income affordable housing, about 7,500 square feet of commercial and retail space on the ground floor and 140 climate-controlled parking stalls.
The six-story project also will include a fifth-floor community room with outdoor terrace, sixth-floor lounge, fitness center and outdoor landscaped gathering spaces that enhance the pedestrian experience, walkability and connections to multiple forms of transit.
Construction is expected to be completed in late 2022.
