Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners and Cushman & Wakefield are celebrating the debut of the newly renovated and reimagined Two22 office tower at 222 S. 9th St. in the Minneapolis CBD. With the debut, a drone video produced by Sky Candy Studios is also being released to highlight building renovations.
LCP acquired the 42-story, 727,170-square-foot landmark asset in 2019 and engaged Cushman & Wakefield for leasing, NELSON Worldwide for design and Gardner Builders for construction. Upon acquisition, LCP immediately began to execute its strategic plan for the asset, completely overhauling the building’s first and second floors, including the building’s lobby, atrium and Skyway entrance, and extensive tenant amenity space. LCP also embarked on a building-wide elevator modernization program and building automation system upgrade.
“We acquired Two22 with a full understanding of both Minneapolis’ growth potential and history and what this building could offer the Downtown community,” said Rob Valentine of Lingerfelt CommonWealth. “The renovations and updates truly exceed expectations from both a functional and aesthetic perspective, and we feel we’ve delivered an unrivaled destination for tenants and their employees, especially as we consider the post-pandemic environment.”
Cushman & Wakefield Executive Director Tom Tracy and Senior Director Katie Tufford lead leasing efforts on behalf of LCP for the building at South 9th Street and South 3rd Avenue.
