GREC Architects, a full-service architectural firm headquartered in Chicago, recently added five new team members to meet the growing portfolio of hospitality, mixed-use, mid-to high-rise, and multi-family residential projects nationwide.
Michael Alvarez joins GREC as a business manager with more than 10 years of experience in business management. Michael is United States Army Veteran that completed one tour to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. While in the service, Michael graduated with his Bachelor of Science in business from the University of Phoenix.
Michael Comiskey joins GREC as a new project manager with six years of experience working in residential high rise, mixed use, and hospitality. Mike completed his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Ohio and graduate degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Cassandra Hall comes to GREC as a new architectural designer with three years of experience in hospitality and sports architecture in Kansas City. Past work experience includes top-tier athletic training facilities and hospitality focused interior spaces for hotels and offices. Cassandra completed her Master of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas as a part of their five-year accelerated program.
Jose Navarrete transitioned to GREC as a project architect, bringing with him eight years of architectural design and construction experience. Past work includes high-end single-family homes in Mexico and interior design for hospitality projects. Jose completed his bachelor’s degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Queretaro and a master’s degree in BIM management from the University of Barcelona in Spain.
Nageshwar Rao joins GREC as an associate, bringing with him an architectural career that spans over 17 years. Nageshwar has been responsible for the design and development of a diverse body of work including large to mid-scale hospitality, high-rise, multi-family residential tower to mixed-use developments, healthcare, and small single-family homes. With an approach rooted in creating spaces and places that enhance the urban experience, Nageshwar focuses on all aspects of design and building integration.
