Copaken Brooks is welcoming Vytelle to The District at Lenexa City Center. Vytelle will move its current headquarters from Hermiston, Oregon, to the second floor of Penn II at 8789 Penrose Lane, leasing 2,477 square feet in total.

Vytelle is a precision livestock company that is reshaping how cattle producers optimize their herds worldwide. Vytelle’s integrated technology platform allows producers to sustainably deliver more protein with fewer inputs, helping to ensure that meat and milk are viable food choices for future generations. Vytelle works with cattle producers in 20 countries to advance genetic progress through its technology platform resulting in more efficient, profitable, and sustainable production.

Vytelle chose Kansas City for its new headquarters due to its central location in the United States and proximity to the large and growing community of animal health and agriculture technology companies located in the region. Construction on the new office space began in July.

Vytelle was represented by Ellen Fisher from AREA Real Estate Advisors while Ryan Biery, Senior Vice President of Brokerage at Copaken Brooks, represented The District in the deal.

As a mixed-use development, Lenexa City Center offers walkable amenities to its tenants that include a coworking space, the Public Market and the Lenexa Public Library. When fully developed, Lenexa City Center will consist of more than 2 million square feet, including civic components for the City of Lenexa, nearly 1 million square feet of office and retail, and 375 residential units.
