Wesley Emert and Tina Emert of CityWide Real Estate Services assisted Copper Coin in securing space at 436 Leonard St. NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Copper Coin is a custom tattoo design shop with a focus on professional excellence, top tier sanitation practices and high quality execution. The tattoo shop offers a variety of styles, including: realism, black work, color work, cover ups, tattoo design, and american traditional.
The 2,340-square-foot space includes an entrance area, reception area and numerous tattoo stations.
Copper Coin owners Patrick VanSandlyne and Mark Fettig both work alongside numerous artists.
The two owners designed the entire space themselves. The tattoo shop features an eclectic style with high coffered ceilings, various artwork and decor, and a fake bodega.
In addition to the shop design, VanSandlyne and Fettig have also created a unique, speakeasy type entrance experience. Clients will walk through “Double C Convenience” before entering the tattoo shop.
CityWide Real Estate Services acquired this project in August of 2020 and witnessed that residential and commercial interactions could flourish more dynamically together.
Current commercial tenants in this mixed-use building include Alt City NA Bottles, Trinity Chiropractic, FURN on Leonard and Captain Bizzaro’s Treasure World.
