Friedman Communities, a Friedman Real Estate company, has been awarded the management assignment for a large multi-site multifamily portfolio.
The portfolio features more than 1,500 apartment units within the city of Detroit, with a focus on neighborhoods such as Midtown, Southwest Detroit and the East Jefferson corridor, including the Villages.
The portfolio, including several historic buildings and charming 1920s architecture, focuses on accessible neighborhoods with available transit to bring quality housing for all income levels. Each building restoration preserves and celebrates both the history and beauty found within the city of Detroit. The investment into these Detroit neighborhoods promotes community collaboration benefiting investors, residents, and community members alike. Friedman will build additional value for each asset and its respective communities through high-touch, professional property management.
Residents of each community will enjoy tastefully preserved historic buildings surrounded by neighborhoods with unique dining and entertainment. Interior renovations may include stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, new cabinetry with modern hardware, and tiled showers; all complementing the natural wood, exposed brick, and retro hex bathroom tiling.
