David Voss, Jr., president and chief executive officer of Neenah, Wisconsin-based Miron Construction Co., Inc., will transition to Former CEO effective Jan. 1, 2025.
Voss has been a visionary leader who has co-led Miron Construction since 1979. As President and CEO, he was deeply ingrained in the daily operations of the company and participated in all aspects of corporate management.
Voss has played a significant role in Miron’s family-focused culture, and his relationships-first mentality reaches far beyond the company’s 1,700 team members. Throughout his nearly 50-year career, he has invested personal time and treasure into a multitude of non-profit organizations, in addition to the in-kind work the company provides. He has impacted countless lives and communities near and far.
In his new role, Voss will continue to support, guide, and influence various areas of the business as part of a multi-year succession plan that began over the course of the last two years and continues. He will maintain in his unofficial role as Miron’s Chief Cheerleader, and as an invaluable ambassador for the company he will spend time visiting project sites and community organizations to share his deep gratitude and support.
In 1918, Patrick G. Miron – Voss’ maternal grandfather – founded the company as a local masonry shop. A reorganization with additional family investors in the 1950s ultimately led to consolidated ownership by the Voss and Kippenhan families in the 1970s. Voss originally co-led Miron with Greg Kippenhan and Pat Voss. In 2003, Greg’s son, Tim Kippenhan, assumed co-ownership with Dave.
Beginning in 2025, when David G. Voss, Jr. transitions to the position of Former CEO, the following individuals will begin serving as the company’s corporate officers:
- Tim Kippenhan – President & Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- David Voss III – Vice President & Chief Construction Operating Officer (CCOO)
- Dan Voss – Secretary & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
