Community Builders of Kansas City (CBKC) announced that its headquarters building at 4001 Drive Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. is at 100% occupancy with the addition of the Clarkson-Radmacher Joint Venture.
CBKC also added Commerce Bank to its growing portfolio, further advancing the organization’s mission to drive economic development on Kansas City’s East Side.
Built in 2003, the award-winning office building has 69,000 square feet of Class A office space.
The Clarkson-Radmacher Joint Venture signed a lease for 10,714 square feet, occupying the former Catholic Charities space in Suite 250 of the building. The Joint Venture will staff approximately 30 employees to support the “Improve I-70 Kansas City” initiative, which is a project to upgrade I-70 between Paseo Boulevard and U.S. 40/31st Street.
Commerce Bank leased 3,965 square feet at 4401 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., occupying an outparcel building at The Shops on Blue Parkway. The space is undergoing a complete build-out and will house a full-service retail banking branch with consumer and commercial services, including a drive-up ATM. The branch is scheduled to open in fall 2025. First National Bank of Omaha and Total Wireless also recently signed leases for The Shops on Blue Parkway.
