St. Louis-based Contegra Construction is advancing a spring 2026 completion of a 70,000-square-foot distribution center in Manhattan, Kansas for Jones Development.
Dubbed Project Wildcat, the distribution center is emerging on a 16-acre site adjacent to Manhattan Regional Airport and just minutes from I-70.
Project Wildcat is being constructed of precast concrete panels with a 20-foot clear height and topped with a TPO roof. The facility features 12 overhead doors, including three high speed doors at a van loading area and nine docks with full dock equipment packages.
The electrical package includes high bay lighting to provide illumination and a lightning protection system. It also features a 7,000-square-foot office and an employee break area. Parking accommodates 205 employee vehicles, 187 vans and 17 trucks.
