Enclave has partnered with Robinson Inc. to develop a 622,788-square-foot heavy manufacturing build-to-suit facility. The new building is Robinson’s first outside of Wisconsin, located in Altoona, Iowa, just 10 miles northeast of Des Moines.
The City of Altoona is investing $9 million for infrastructure improvements and Robinson will invest $76 million for upgrades to the building.
The facility will provide flexible production spaces for metal bending, large format cutting, metal forming, welding, fabricating and assembly, and electrical integration. This expansion gives the manufacturer close to 1.4 million square feet of manufacturing space for customized production in both Wisconsin and Iowa and will create 100 jobs for the area starting in 2027.
Construction began in December 2025, and the project is expected to be complete in Q1 2027. Valor Contracting, a strategic division of Enclave, is building the facility. Their ability to deliver state-of-the-art industrial facilities using the industry’s most advanced build methods makes them a nationally recognized, award-winning builder.
