Robinson broke ground on its newest manufacturing site in Altoona, Iowa.
This significant development marks the establishment of Robinson’s first manufacturing facility outside of Wisconsin. The 622,788-square-foot building is strategically designed to provide flexible production spaces for metal bending, large format cutting, metal forming, welding, fabricating and assembly, and electrical integration.
Enclave is developing the built-to-suit facility that will provide the manufacturer close to 1.4 million square feet of manufacturing space for customized production in both Wisconsin and Iowa. It will create hundreds of jobs when the site is operational. The City of Altoona is investing $9 million for infrastructure improvements for the development valued at over $100 million.
The company selected Altoona as a critical link to provide a dependable supply chain for its growing customer base.
The new facility is expected to be completed and operational by Q1 2027. Valor Contracting, a strategic division of Enclave, is building the facility. Their ability to deliver state-of-the-art industrial facilities using the industry’s most advanced build methods makes them a nationally recognized, award-winning builder.
