
Ed Hogan has joined JVP Development as Head of Leasing, bolstering JVP’s leasing within mixed-use urban real estate development. Hogan will manage and drive leasing and activation of retail, leisure and office development across JVP’s portfolio.
Hogan brings over three decades of experience creating value for some of the most prominent mixed-use and high-street assets in the United States. He has led retail leasing and redevelopment across more than $10 billion of assets, including landmark projects such as Moynihan Train Hall, Penn Station, Brookfield Place, and the ongoing transformation of Fifth Avenue. Hogan has consistently enhanced asset value through tenant curation, repositioning, and leasing to achieve investment objectives.
Hogan will lead office and retail leasing at The Mix, a $3 billion, 112-acre mixed-use development in Frisco, Texas. Phase 1 of The Mix includes a shopping center anchored by a Whole Foods Market, the first in Frisco. Fully built-out, The Mix will include 375,000 square feet of upscale retail, over 2 million square feet of Class A office, 3,299 elevated residential units, and two landmark hotels integrated with 20 acres of green and park space for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Hogan most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Leasing at Vornado Realty Trust, where he oversaw a 2.4 million square foot portfolio spanning Fifth Avenue, Madison Avenue and Times Square. He was responsible for driving leasing strategy across a portfolio generating over $200 million in NOI while working closely with all partners and stakeholders.
Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Brookfield Properties and Olympia & York where he was involved in major acquisitions, redevelopments, and leasing across large and diverse properties. Hogan began his career as an architect at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and holds both a Master of Architecture and a Master of Science in Real Estate. His background informs a holistic approach to development, combining design, leasing and investment strategy. Hogan is recognized for his deep relationships with global retailers, institutional owners, and industry stakeholders, and for his proven ability to align leasing, development, and strategy to drive long-term asset-level performance and value creation.
