The Essex Companies — Essex Realty Group, LLC, Essex Capital Markets, LLC, and Essex Three Twelve, LLC — announced the promotion of Mary McGinnis to Chief Marketing Officer.
McGinnis joined Essex in 2023 as a Marketing Associate and now leads marketing across all three affiliated firms. She oversees branding, digital strategy, social media, content creation, and marketing campaign execution.
Over the course of her tenure, McGinnis has transformed the company’s marketing infrastructure, developing a more strategic and cohesive brand presence across all platforms. She has streamlined marketing processes, expanded the firm’s digital reach, implemented a higher standard of quality control across marketing assets, and played a key role in strengthening Essex’s position as one of Chicago’s leading multifamily brokerage platforms.
McGinnis graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2023 with a degree in Mass Communications and an emphasis in Digital Media Strategy.
In her new role, McGinnis will continue leading marketing strategy while overseeing the continued growth of the Essex brand, digital presence, and marketing initiatives across all affiliated companies.
