Venture One Real Estate broke ground on a 189,680-square-foot build-to-suit manufacturing facility for Aermec North America in DeKalb, Illinois.
The project will establish Aermec’s new U.S. headquarters and represents a significant investment in the company’s North American operations.
The new facility will bring Aermec’s U.S. manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and corporate operations under one roof. Purpose-built around the company’s operational requirements, the project is expected to be completed in Q3 2027.
The Aermec facility adds to Venture One’s growing portfolio of specialized build-to-suit projects for leading manufacturers.
The project team includes Venture One as developer, Meridian Design Build as general contractor, Ware Malcomb as architect, and Jacob & Hefner as civil engineer. Sean Henrick of Cushman & Wakefield assisted Aermec in its site selection.
