Academy Bank, a full-service community bank and wholly owned subsidiary of Dickinson Financial Corp., opened its new flagship retail banking center — and home office — in the Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City, Missouri, as part of the bank’s continued expansion in the bi-state metro area.
The new bank introduces Walk-Up Video Banking to the Crossroads. With the touch of a screen, Academy Bank customers can speak with a live Video Banker to assist with most banking services. The new technology offers both a personal touch and an added convenience of extended hours, seven days a week. By the end of this year, Academy Bank also will introduce Academy Express, its Drive-Thru Video Banking and ATM service in the Crossroads Arts District.
Academy Bank in the Crossroads also offers community conference rooms and workspaces with free WiFi that can be reserved at no charge by area businesses and organizations. It also offers an outdoor courtyard that is shared with neighboring businesses, including WeWork Kansas City and The Roasterie.
As part of Academy Bank’s new partnership with ArtsKC, rotating work by local artists will be prominently displayed along with digital screens featuring stories about the artists.
