M+A Architects names first Cincinnati partner

M+A Architects has named the firm’s newest partner, Seth Oakley, marking the company’s first Cincinnati office partner representative.

Oakley will focus on new technology initiatives for M+A. The goal is to rely on innovative technological advances to position M+A as progressive partners in the AEC industry.

Oakley will lead the firm’s engagement within the rapid evolution of technology. AI, VR and XR will empower project teams to visualize anything, and even more importantly, interact with the visualized objects, changing the way things have been done, moving faster and more efficiently.

Since joining M+A in 2004, Oakley has been active in contributing to the success of the firm, led by dedication and consistent determination. His motivation to open the Cincinnati office five years ago has served the firm well and has proven successful with a 133 percent growth rate in the office’s short time of existence.

Oakley is a nationally recognized expert in accessibility, and maintains Risk Management for the firm, with a strong background in construction.

His extensive experience on numerous projects ranges from initial schematic design to detailed construction administration, which gives him a unique insight into overall project delivery. Through numerous residential projects, he has developed a thorough understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines as well as Federal Fair Housing Guidelines along with other common accessibility guidelines.
