J.C. Anderson has completed a 100,000-square-foot renovation project at 1501 Woodfield Road (Schaumburg Corporate Center) in Schaumburg, Illinois. Property owner GlenStar Properties hired J.C. Anderson to complete the large capital improvement project, which consisted of a new tenant lounge, new conference center, a new management office and other refurbishments.
In addition to renovations of the fitness center and the atrium, new millwork, lighting, flooring and painting throughout, J.C. Anderson also connected a stairway from the first floor atrium to the lower level fitness center. J.C. Anderson worked with the design team to reformat the new stairs to fit between post-tensioning tendons in the existing concrete first floor deck. The new space also features a media display wall in the atrium, a new audio-visual system including projectors and video displays, back-lit Arktura metal panels and faux wood ceilings in the conference center.
The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by project executive John Angelovich, senior project manager Jason Hawkins and superintendent Gary Kuechler. Wright Heerema Architects provided architectural services.
