Co-working company WeWork has expanded its Chicago footprint with the announcement of leases in two Class A towers: 515 N. State Street and 330 N. Wabash Avenue, both owned and operated by Beacon Capital Partners. The new office spaces are slated to open in November 2018.

“Both 515 N. State Street and 330 N. Wabash are amazing locations for WeWork with stunning views and premium building amenities, as well as convenient access to restaurants and transportation,” said Megan Dodds, GM, Midwest at WeWork.

WeWork will take on two floors in 330 N. Wabash, offering more than 1,100 desks. The space inside 515 N. State Street will span five floors and provide over 2,000 desks. The company has six other locations elsewhere in Chicago, with more than 6,000 members; one in Fulton Market, two in River North and three in the Loop.

“Since launching our first building in Chicago over three years ago, we’ve had the opportunity to provide a home to many of Chicago’s most innovative creators, entrepreneurs and organizations,” Dodds said. “With the addition of two new locations, we will continue to build on what we’ve learned in order to strengthen the WeWork community as well as the Chicago business ecosystem.”
