Douglas Johnson, managing director of CBRE Auction Services, said that the Country Inn & Suites and the former Knights Inn in Dayton, Ohio, will be sold in August through an open-outcry auction with an opening bid of $600,000.
Built in 2002, the 60-room, three-story interior corridor hotel currently operating as a Country Inn & Suites and the adjacent 73-room, one-story exterior corridor former Knights Inn are located just south of Interstate-70 off Interstate-75 at Wyse road in Dayton near Dayton International Airport, Hara Arena, the University of Dayton and the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Museum.
The hotels are located on the same parcel and will be sold as one auction offering.
The auction will be held at the hotel site Aug. 9 at noon EDT. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. EDT. Certified funds in the amount of $60,000 are required to bid.
