Goodman Real Estate Services Group LLC of Cleveland recently completed a deal bringing the restaurant Willeyville to Flats East Bank. Stephen Taylor, senior associate with Goodman, represented Willeyville in this transaction.
Willeyville is a restaurant established by Chris DiLisi, a native Clevelander, with his wife Krista DiLisi. Chris, formerly of Flour Rustic Italian Kitchen, and Krista will be bringing his version of the chef-driven restaurant to the East Bank of the Flats. The restaurant is an homage to the 1800s when John Willey, the first mayor of Cleveland, named an area near the Flats “Willeyville” for a brief period. Willeyville will feature handcrafted spirits and a seasonal American menu.
Flats East Bank is located where the Cuyahoga River meets Lake Erie. The $500 million development will make Cleveland’s waterfront more accessible. Attractions include the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the East 4th Street entertainment district, Playhouse Square, the new Medical Mart and Cleveland’s professional sporting venues.
