Steiner + Associates, Bucksbaum Retail Properties to start construction on 1.1-million-square-foot mixed-use development in Cincinnati

Steiner + Associates and Bucksbaum Retail Properties will break ground this fall on the new mixed-use Liberty Center project in Cincinnati.

Liberty Center will cover 64 acres and include 1.1 million square feet of space. The project will include about 600,000 square feet of retail space, 100,000 square feet of Class-A office space, a 135-key hotel and 220 luxury residential multi-family units.

Plans also call for a 14-screen upscale movie theater with dining.

The project will include three main parks and a series of retail and restaurant pavilions. The easternmost park will be lcated within the 180,000-square-foot enclosed portion of the project.

Liberty Center will open in the Spring of 2015.
