Tenant-representation firm Cresa, which boasts several offices in the Midwest, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The firm was founded in 1993 through an alliance between four tenant-representation firms. Today, the organization spans 58 offices in North America with more than $235 million in annual revenue. More than 800 people work at Cresa offices.
The original Cresa firms each averaged 10-year histories in their respective markets when they joined together in 1993 to form the CresaPartners alliance. In 1998, the organization became CresaPartners LLC. The firm rebranded as Cresa in 2012.
The firm has notched several achievements, including:
- Winner of the Inc. Magazine Hire Power Award
- Winner of five William H. Dorsey Awards for Client Service
- Named as one of the Top 10 Most Innovative Commercial Real Estate Firms by Realcomm
- Named one of America’s Fastest Growing Firms by Inc. 5000
Cresa founder William Goade recently stepped down as Chief Executive Officer and was succeeded by James Leslie.
“The founders of Cresa had a vision to build a better corporate real estate services platform,” said Goade in a written statement. “Clients responded to our promise to ‘do the right thing’ and put their interests first, which is how we’ve been able to grow into a powerhouse in the industry.”
