Dermody Properties on July 24 broke ground on LogistiCenter at I-65, a 624,000-square-foot industrial development near Louisville.
The site is located at 972 Conestoga Parkway in Shepherdsville, Ken., at the four-way interchange of Interstate-65 and Kentucky Highway 44. The project is being developed and managed by Dermody Properties’ Midwest region office in Chicago.
“This development will be a state-of-the-art facility that meets the needs of the underserved 300,000- to 600,000-square-foot size range in the greater Louisville area,” said Brian Quigley, partner with Dermody Properties, in a written statement.
LogistiCenter at I-65 is located within a 287-acre mature business park. The park is only 12 miles south of the Louisville airport and 15 miles south of downtown Louisville. It is also home to the UPS Worldport Hub.
